We spent the past weekend - once again - in wonderful San Antonio, TEXAS!
Great place. We went to watch the US Air Force Invitational Professional Bull Riders event.
Saturday, we had great seats located within spitting distance of the chutes, at the end of row 8 (started at row 6 which, along with row 7, was reserved for bull owners, the riders' significant others, and rich sluts.
We have never been so close to the action here at the AT&T Center nor, in fact, in any other venue. Definitely much better view than at the humongous Cowboy Stadium in Arlington.
Sunday, well, we had to sacrifice and sit on row 10. We still had the two outside seats so NO ONE was sitting in front of me either day!
Great bulls, but the riders looked tired and damaged. Only one rider of the final 15 actually completed their 8 seconds. Still, we had a great time.
Plus, all the margaritas made things look a lot better. The sky was blue and not a cloud in the sky (literally!). Good thing most bars are indoors at the temperature was in the 100's each day.
Gotta go back. :)
